Well, Henry has a leg brace now. The specialist said he thinks he has a fracture of his lower left leg (tibia) that is not showing up on the x-rays.
As you can see, he is not so enthusiastic about the brace. In fact, he absolutely can't stand it!
It's not actually really this big, it just looms that large in our lives. I mean, it's just the perspective. It was the smallest one they had anyway. I guess it's better than a cast. I really can't say at this point. He absolutely can't stand it! (Oh, I said that already.)
We are supposed to take him back in two weeks for a check up. I sure hope he gets used to this thing being on his leg, because otherwise we are going to be somewhat not-so-happy.
Did I mention that we now have no daycare for two weeks? Aaahh!!

What can a mother/grandmother say??? It's double anguish for me!!! WISH I COULD BE THERE AND BE OF HELP TOYOU ALL!!! Sarah and Andrew's wedding is the FOURTH, Henry might be the STAR OF THE SHOW!!!
I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Be brave Madeline!!!
are you kidding me?!?! That looks like the awful boot I had to wear when I broke my foot! Henry is right...it sucks! Poor guy!!!!!!!!!!! The only good thing about that is when I got it off for sleeping it felt like I was in heaven. I am so sorry this has happened to him!
What if you got him the matching right boot? Then he could monster truck all over the place. But which way would the sign go: would the right leg negate the left leg or would they add to make you doubly unhappy?
