Could be better, could be worse

Well, it's just not clear yet how things are going. Henry seemed to perk up after his antibiotic shot and actually ate a jar of sweet potatoes and corn baby food. I fed it to him very slowly, don't worry. He kept that down for about an hour and a half. He is still refusing liquids. We really have to struggle with him now to get any liquid in him. 

Hopefully he will take some during the night and things will start to improve. If not, he will probably have to go to the emergency room to get rehydrated. The doctor said they can just rehydrate him with i.v. fluids and send him home. Apparently sometimes that perks babies right up and they recover quickly from that point.

One sad little fact: he cries when he throws up, and as long as he still has tears, that means he is not dehydrated.  So far he always has tears.
